From label-loving Geminis to clutter-free Taureans, IKEA has revealed what your zodiac sign says about your organisational style in a new guide.
The Swedish furniture retailer has revealed star sign personalities with 12 Clutter Horoscopes, or rather ‘Clutterscopes’, by teaming up with renowned psychologist, Honey Langcaster-James to analyse clutter characteristics.
‘It can be good to start the new year off feeling a little more organised and in control of all the “stuff” in your life,’ says Honey.
The guide has launched to coincide with IKEA’s series of free events that’s running in-store until 26th February to help households get organised. If you’re an IKEA Family member you’ll also have access to exclusive offers on storage solutions, including 20 per cent off all TROFAST boxes, 15 per cent off selected hallway storage and 15 per cent off all food containers and jars. Getting your clean on just got easier.

Aries, March 21 – April 19
As the first sign of the zodiac, Aries are driven by a desire to prove themselves and their strength. Motivated and determined, they have a no-nonsense approach to decluttering and home organisation. They find joy in simple storage solutions, particularly when it comes to general waste and recycling.
IKEA’s top tip: The three pack of DIMPA waste sorting bags make it easier to separate your general waste and recycling, which can also be folded flat when not being used for easy storage.
Taurus, April 20 – May 20
Taureans, like the bull that represents them, are known to be down-to-earth, intelligent, dependent, hardworking and dedicated. They like order and organisation in the home, including colour-ordination, clutter-free pantries and wardrobes folded to perfection.

Gemini, May 21 – June 20
‘Generally believed to be playful, curious and gregarious, the key characteristics of this sign would likely see you organising your home in particularly fun and imaginative ways,’ explains Honey. ‘Using a set of fun labels will help keep you amused while you’re organising.’
IKEA’s top tip: Get creative and make your own labels, using the HÄNGIG label holders to make organising the inside of drawers and wardrobes easier.
Cancer, June 21 – July 22
While reserved, traits associated with this zodiac sign are nurturing, loyal and knowing. People born in the Cancer Sun sign of the zodiac are especially fond of personalised organisation methods, including monogrammed towels, labelled jars and named hooks for coats.
IKEA’s top tip: Try the TJUSIG hanger or hat rack. Whilst the BUMERANG hangers in natural or white can easily be labelled for a more organised system.
Leo, July 23 – August 22
Bold, intelligent, warm, and courageous, fire sign Leo is a natural leader of the Zodiac. While they like to keep things organised, Leos are guilty of hidden ‘dumping’ cupboards out of view from guests. Is this you?

Virgo, August 23 – September 22
Virgos have a meticulous approach to clutter. For them, it’s a one-in, one-out policy with belongings. Famous for being practical, sensible perfectionists, everything must have its place at home. They won’t keep anything they don’t need.

Libra, September 23 – October 22
Librans take labelling seriously. Open any kitchen cupboard and you’ll find balance, storage jars and pretty pantry-like shelves that wouldn’t look out of place on Instagram. They like to keep things calm by embracing neutral materials and calming colour schemes. A label maker is always close by.

Scorpio, October 23 – November 21

Honey suggests: ‘The key is to simplify and streamline your life as much as you can. For Scorpios, less is more because it reduces the need for you to have to think about and consider everything.’

Aquarius, January 20 – February 18

‘On the other hand, you might find yourself stashing clutter into spaces that others wouldn’t even think to look in, so there’s a risk of building up too much stuff to deal with over time.’

Pisces, February 19 – March 20
‘The Pisces sign is known for being sympathetic to others and emotionally aware. They are often thought to go to great lengths to help ensure the happiness of those around them,’ says Honey.
Clearing out is tricky for a Pisces, with this star sign likely to hold onto precious items and memorabilia. They have mastered ways to cleverly store their belongings, keeping things in drawers, cupboards and easy-to-reach boxes. Everything has its place.
